This Central American Decaf VOLCAN Blend, is roasted as a Medium producing consistent chocolate caramel notes with no acidity.
This coffee is definitely sumptuous.
These beans are Swiss Water Process decaffeinated, which is a process where the beans are decaffeinated by soaking in warm water. That water takes on the flavor of the beans, then that water is run through an activated charcoal filter that grabs the caffeine molecules. The beans are then soaked in that new decaffeinated water to reintroduce the flavor. For more information look up Swiss Water Process online, it's pretty fascinating!
