Collection: French Press Coffee
French press makes balanced coffee by steeping the grounds in hot water, and then pressing the grounds out. Two important things to consider, boiling water will scorch the coffee (wait 20 seconds off of the boil) and the grinds need to be ground coarse.
French pressed coffee is a great alternative to the traditional automatic drip brewers and K Cups and very easy to use.
We suggest medium roast coffee for French Press brewing as darker roasts require finer grinding for full extraction. These Medium Roast Varieties include Brazilian, Colombian, Costa Rican, El Salvador, Guatemalan, Indian, Rwandan and Peruvian, the roasters preferred cup.
For those that like dark coffee, Our Dark Roast suggestions are Dark Morning and Charleston Holy City.
