The grind of Turkish coffee is unique in that it is ground to a super fine consistency, which will sink to the bottom of the vessel. This produces a frothy foam on the top of the brew creating an exceptional taste and aroma. The Turkish ground coffee grinds are brewed and intentionally left in the vessel retaining all of the oils and textures that a true coffee can produce.
The Congolese, Nicaraguan (when available), Honduran and Kenyan make excellent choices for Turkish coffee.
If you prefer the darkest, most profound taste we suggest Honduran, Indonesian and Ethiopian.
